The phrase, ‘Look for work, not a job,’ is an interesting one. What is your reaction to it? How do you think that this concept will affect you.
It's for my planning class and I will be your friend if you answer it for me...just a short answer will do

To me, work and job have similar negative connentations. However, looking for work is also something that carries with it the idea of time passing enjoyment and learning. I work on an essay for class, but I enjoy the learning process that comes with it, and it keeps me from spending my life on NS.com. (although keeping me from things that i really like such as skiing and rugby) Its the same thing with work for money. If you get work that you enjoy and that expands your abilities in some way. A job just doesnt seem so exciting if you can have work that will expand your person and abilities. The way that this affects me is that i continue to learn and expand myself instead of simply flipping burgers for 5 hour shifts. I might even take a reduction in pay to have work that will better me as an individual and better prepare me for later work.
hows that?

ok, well it says what it means to YOU, but, for me, i guess it means look to do something that you like to do and something that keeps you busy. not just something that will be a drag and you do because you have to. i guess that's the big difference... work you do because you want to do something with your life, a job you do because somebody told you like your parents tell you to get a job, or because you have to.

work is something that has been produced or accomplished through effort while a job is something that results from or is produced by work.

in my opinion, a job is something that you don't look forward to doing, whereas work suggests that there is a certain level of pride that you take with you into it.

my job is teaching freestyle, so a job can carry a positive meaning depending on whether you enjoy it or not
To understand mankind, we must first understand the word. We can break the word down into two sub-words, 'mank' and 'ind'.What these two words mean is a mystery, just like mankind itself.
