well if jon isnt going nobody will show up. Infact I heard that if jon wasnt going there wasn't going to be any skiing events!

not so, the latest word is that there just won't be a third place. There will still be first and second but because of Jons absence next place is fourth with the third place winnings going to the Bronze Medallists are Winners Too charity
