Replying to Dating your ex's best friend

yeah so I wanna go out with my ex's best friend. I know she's into it cause she's giving off some mad signals. However, my ex has just moved back into town kinda throwing a wrench into my plans. Nothing against my ex, I still think she's rad and we get along well, but I wonder if this has just screwed me. As a guy, I know you're not really supposed to date a buddy's ex, unless he dumper her. Well, in this case, she dumped me so I figure that the reverse should be true. Any thoughts?
