yea the entire ski has been redesigned with tianal underfoot so we dont rip out...and redesigned tip to lessen the stress on the glue that caused delams.....hey spinks are you still planning on riveting the new ones?

i meant graphics wise, i know theyre gonna be changed a lot construction wise, but the graphic looks incredibly similar

Wow. Honestly I tought they were cool but then everybodys bashing on them on ski-gabber.. I dunno if it was a good idea or not to post those to the public.

it wierd lol, i am never going to be able to see what people are riding, last year the fugistives and the choppers looked the same, and this year the stealths and the critchons. O well, are the other ski graphics different, or do they still have the same style?

The choppers are same style, different color, reapers are similar too. We worked on putting a good ski together instead spending hours and hours on graphics, I think its a good deal. then we have 2 new skis, all mountain twins, stiffer than the pro twins, that are totally different.

word...i think it was defanitely a smart move to work on construction rather thn graphics....as a company liberty needed to produce a worthwhile product, because it would be hard to recover if they had another year with skis like these im sure....i dont mind the graphics at all, the only thing that is at all weird is tha half plane on the tip....but it really doesnt bug me...im stoked to see them and try them out this weekend

someone should post on the thread what julien said.. that they worked on bringing a solid performant ski instead of a good looking ski that sucks..

okay i just have to get this off my back i really dont want to get anyone mad, and please take this as constructive critizism because this is what this forum is for, here my honost opinion about new skis

the way is see it, last year get liberty a pretty bad reputation(or at least on the east coast in new england) becasue of all the breakage and what not and alot of people think there a joke. And i think what we needed to do is start with a fresh slate, so people would look at liberty in a new way. And i am super happy that we are doing new molds so the skis will be sick! but i ski company these days is alot about its image, and having the skis be the same style with all the same graphic, just moved around and different colors, to me is a large dissapointment. I think we would have gotten a much better response if we started with fresh new graphic.

Yet this is only my opinion, and i know alot of people like them, and oviously they cant be changed or anything, but i thought i would just put this out there, "so thats my 2 cents"

i agree with both nick and witt, and i figure i get my opinions in,

i think it was the best idea to start with fixing the construction of the skis, as there were a lot of problems with them, but a lot of kids pick there skis based on graphics, they dont know the difference between titanium, aluminum, tri-axial braid, and anything, they buy them because of the graphics and think they will look dope on the hill, from a business standpoint i believe after having a quality product the next most important thing it to make your product look good, if it looks medioker, people are going to think its medioker, every company steps up their graphics each year, look st some of the most popular twins, Armadas all have amazingly cool looking and intricate graphics, K2s have crazy hand drawn graphics, 4Frnt has colorful and intresting graphics and I think, personaly, that this is what kids are looking for, looking in the forum it seems like most of the kids just see the fact that the only thing changed on the skis was the color and the graphics tweaked with slightly, not one person asked about what was done to fix the problems we had this year or the new contruction of the ski, then again some techies, im sure, will care about that, but the mass public that is most freeskiers are more intrested in how they look then how they ride, as long as the ski is gonna stay on their foot and not get destroyed over the course of the season, their stoked they have a dope looking ski that they can ski, regardless of the quality of the ski since most are just park rats,

these are just my thoughts and im sure some of you will disagree, im just throwin them out there

If kids are in it just for graphics, dont worry, they will pick the new all mountain twins, just sit back, relax, and wait to see that. Hold yourself well to your chair when you will see the graphics, you may fall off your chair. Same goes for the 174 cold war fat twin

The truth of the matter is, I am working on a #D stealth graphic similar to the new all mountain twins. I have been taking my sweet ass time with it, trying to get it perfect and ran out of time. I made this one really quickly so we would have somthing for Vegas. Wait until you see the skis up close, there is a new pattern to them that I think you will all like. The pictures dont do the graphics much justice.

I will get a close up image online soon. For now, it is the weekend, I am going skiing!

We are just adding a 174, keeping 164 and 184.

As for stealth, they will come with the crazy graphics we make on the all mountain twin, because people liked the graphics so much.

anyways, just think about it, everyone think that crichton`s are sick. everyone think the new stealth is ugly, but everyone say its the same. there is something wrong in there as long as im concerned.

true, i think anyone who like chrictons has to like those, they look essentially the same, but theres always criticism for relativly plain looking skis
