I highly doubt it. Canadians like to think lots of world famous people have come out of their country... its like if you go to that starbucks inside Indigo at Yonge and Eglington and look at that wall with all those famous canadians... and like the biggest name (literally, each name was in different size font) is fucking Don Cherry. Nobody gives a shit about Canada other than Canadians... unless it is in the rare instance where their country has the Olympics or something like that.

Don cherry is retarted though. I was just wondering because of the possibility or terry foxes mom being the final torch bearer for the olympics. Ya it seems that all of our "famous" canadians are not very famous. Oh and BTW new icon.

i do, he stoped just down the road from my house i can walk to the exact spot with the sign that says he stoped there in 15 minutes tops. Bike there in about 5 minutes.  Then a little ways down the road is the terry fox monument.

to add to this: he is also my hero, and icon If i get to a point where I feel like i can't push any farther, i jjust say to my self. Fuck that terryfox ran almost a marathon a day with a prothestic(sp?) leg! you can suck this up.
