i liked a bunch of songs on Home From Home, have yet to listen to Kirkwood though. And agreed, their older shit was incredible, but this is the way of every punk band, they always start out great, then after years and years, they always come out with at least a few boppie songs

millencolin was never like a hc band who suddenly went pop, they've always had some 'poppier' songs on all of their albums, i dunno why you're just realizing now that they're more upbeat than alot of other bands

Hmmmm I agree...saw em live in 2001 when Pennybridge Pioneers was out, and I have to say I was really into them, was my favourite album for so long...Home from Home was a complete disappointment after Pennybridge, few alrite songs (Black Eye, Fingers Crossed) but overall not fantastic, wasn't disappointed I missed their UK dates. Didn't even know that they had a new album..! Might check it out, but not in any rush...
