My Friend Got Job'd

My friend who has boarded for a long time decided he wanted to buy a pair of skis, I was obviously fully behind his decision. Anyways he found a pair of yellow and orange slightly used scratch bc's with 914's on ebay for 380. When they arrived, they had old 710's (i believe) on them. So right away he called the guy and got 150 back. Went to get them mounted with 911's he bought. The shop just called him and told him that the skis had been mounted 3 times and they couldn't mount them. Seems like the guy mounted the 710's to cover up the old holes. Now he wonders if they skis were stolen, seller lives in idaho.

report it to ebay.

and if he payed via paypal you can report to them aswell.

giving false information about the product your selling is fraud.

if he can make a proper claim their is no doubt he will get his money back

that sucks man, thats not a good start for him as a skier. fuckers like the guy who sold him the skis make our live that much more difficult.

Salomon bindings havent changed mounting patterns in ages...


..the 911 should just require an extra hole drilled for the toe if its a quadrax. If not, it should just need a hold plugged. The only problem I can see is of they were drilled for a poweraxe plate...but I doubt anyone would do that.


I have had my PE's mounted 3 previous times

Mid mount with poweraxe plate (took 2 drills...the shop fucked up on the plate, i didnt see this until i pulled the plate off)

+2 without plate

and now at +4 without the plate.


And I jib on them routinly...they havnt busted yet. Just tell the shop you want them mounted.

He got his money back, so problem evaded. The guy was selling them for a friend, says the friend is an ahole and was very apologetic
