I would sympathise but I have to stay up all night in order to complete the deals I work on. And I run the risk of getting fired the next day........

i dont hate high school. not at the moment anyways... im here on 2 tylenol 3' for the damn pain im in. i was drinking redbull in my last class, who just let us out of class a half hour early. oh and i dont start school until 90 in the morning cause i ahve first period off.. yeah its good

High school was fucking amazing. I loved it, you'll miss it when your done. I preferred it to university. Probably cause I went to a boarding school and the dorms were much crazier there then here at university.

Oh yeah, and probably another reason would be that I had a 93% average without trying too hard in Highschool and even though I do work like mad here I have less than half that.

high school is pointless. i have learned that in the real world, you dont use a single thing you learned in high school, so just dont do anything. it makes no difference in your life if you graduate with striaght a's or d's and c's, so why waste your time?

Mammoth punks is right... if you are amazing at highschool and fail in university, its pointless. Doing well ing Highschool does two things for you: Gets you a scholarship, and into a good university. But if you do bad in university you will lose your scholarship and get kicked outta that good university. You can always pick up a scholarship or switch to a better school if you are doing well in university but sucked at highschool.

Yea highschool was meant to learn how to learn, so you could do it the most effectively at college. HellI did really well in high school w/o really trying and now I'm at Vanderbilt (well an equivalent to a 1370 on the SAT's doesn't hurt), I think we're the 17th top University in the country. You definitely get challenged at a good University and even if you were an A student in highschool and now you're a low B or high C student at a uni like this, you still know a shitload, unlike a lot of state universities where you may have an A but don't know as much. Employers know what schools are hard, and you're giving yourself an advantage by getting into a hardschool and pullin the grade, because i guarantee you I could graduate w/ a 2.7 and get a job over some lamer w/ a 3.5 at Middle Tennessee State, haha.

i nevered stayed up past 12:00 doing home work in highschool but in college i have not gone to bed before 1am ever.... no wait i passed out one night at 11 because i took a 5 footer and started drinking at 3 haha

i'm done highschool - and yes, it is infact pointless.
get high enough grades to get into the school you want to after and don't try any harder. so if you're aiming for easy course in a community college there really is no point in putting any effort in at all. if you can fail a course with the way the education system is set up (well, in ontario anyways) you can't fail unless you are absolutly useless.

I fucking hate high school, its so dumb, pointless and redundent, nothing is really usefull you learn, mainly lit..what makes high school suck even more is the fact that my school starts at fucking 7 20, its soo early, i sleep most of the day, i cant wait til im out, then a few years of ski bumming are in order.

im failing almost everything but im having the time of my life. Grade 12 is so much fun, i think everyone relizes that we will probably never see most of us ever again so everyone is getting togethor and having a good time, its so much fun, like tomarrow is our pep ralley and a whole crew of kids are going to streak, then next week we have a talent show and me and my friends are going to get so tanked and s=just make asses of our selves. What im trying to say is just try to make it fun, after highschool you have to enter the real world, worry about taxes jobs, money everything, these are the years to have fun dont waste them by complaining about it, you will miss it when you leave

yea i really hated school last year but so far this year i havent really done homework except for papers and do the rest during other classes. If you get a easy schedule and smoke before school its better too. But i know what you guys say when its pointless I have some really really bad teachers and havent learned anyhitng in biology or marketing so really there isnt a point to me coming in until 3rd hour i could learn anything by just reading the book that I learn in those classes.

if you're just gonna be a bum after high school, then don't do any work. but if you wanna go to college and get a real career, it would behoove you to do well in high school. I went to one of the best schools in the bay area and unless you wanna take all AP classes, it's not that difficult to get through with As and Bs while doing minimal work. and trust me, I did MINIMAL work and now I'm at the 10th best public university in the country. but to each his own

Fuck, I definatly don't want to work 9-5. Its not like if you don't have a university diploma or highschool you will end up in a shack. Take a bartending course and work at a cool bar, it would be a really cool job to meet lots of people, has cool hours and pays well in tips. There are tons of options.
Lots of rich people didn't finish highschool or university, Bam Margera, Bill Gates. When I finish university I will probably live on as little money as possible and just ski all the time. I wouldn't even go to university but it is a useful thing to fall back on.
As long as you are happy, you don't need anything else. Fuck materialism, if I have good friends, my family, am reasonably comfortable (have food, a warm bed) and am doing something I love I don't care how big my fucking TV is. That's what's wrong with north america. We don't know the difference between happyness and how much money someone is pulling in.

i have it figured out, right now i can not pay any attention in class nor do homework, then ace a test and end up passing (as long as test are worth enough) I doubt this will be the way it is forever, but i dont pay attention at all and am very thankful to the good people at ti for enabling me to download games on to my calculator. when school i over me and some friends buy an rv and just travel across N.A. for a few years, go to a slack bible college in switzerland for a few years, then when i am old go to college (i guess) and try to get a ski related job. hopefully it works

i know a kid who went to all of his junior exams drunk off his ass everyday and actually did ok on them. His parents were out of town and we smoked there everyday and he stayed up all night smoking and drinking and fell asleep for one of his exams. I wish college was easier to get into if my grades stay where they are i could get into a really shitty school.

Anyone who doesn't think high school is necessary is an ignorant moron. Even though there are tons of skills to be learned in the 'real world' you still need that base to get a job or go to college. And I definetly had a good time in high school, especially senior year. College is definetly more fun so far, but still, high school rocked.

i kid that i used to hang out with dropped out of high school, nows hes 18 and cant find a job anywhere. now all he does is walk around town smoking cigarettes and coming to school so he can talk to people at lunch. the only way he makes any money is by selling trees and ripping people off from it.

Ya, highschool is pointless, I coasted the whole way through and got decent marks. Since I graduated in June I have just worked the old 9 - 5. It sucks, the only thing better about work is that you make money.
But it is shit money, $10 per hour, that's just shit and alot of people get worse. But come this winter, since I worked all summer and will have a shit load of savings, I've saved every fucking cent almost, well not really but alot, just going to take from December to May off and just live the life.
Going to be sick.
