INJURIES SUCK

I was jumping a gap between two trampolines and i dislocated my knee and tore two legaments. It was harsh. Anyone else have bad injury stories?

Ya. I've had about 7 serious injuries this last year. Here's 2:

Once right before a big air competition that I had been waiting for, I went to practice on a smaller jump. But to make a long story short, I landed on my head onto solid ice from about 20 feet up. I had to get heliflighted, they thought I was paralyzed. It turned out to be a severe concussion.

And recently I was doing flips on the ground and caught my leg on a chain while I was upside down about 7 feet high and dislocatd my elbow.

i didnt get injured but i watched some guy do some steep shit, but it wsa all icy, and he blew out his acl... it haunts me

I messed up my shoulder in austria in the pipe, I did some really bad damage to the socket, doctors said i was very lucky to not need a reconstruction and it would heal fully in 2-3 years, It hurt pretty bad at the time but i kept skiing and did some of my sweetest three's i had ever done. When I woke up i went to stretch and couldnt move my arm, Then i spent all the rest of my money paying for the hospital bills, i was staying with a friend and his family so I had to come home on my own, I flew from Munich to Dubai and had to sit in the airport with one functioning arm for ten hours till my connecting flight to singapore and then to sydney. The worst part was that I was cut 14 days short of awesome austrian skiing.

i ripped my knee slightly already doing tests on my body for SCHOOL.. before season so im pissed.. but i should heal before the snow hits ontario. cause thats what.. jan-feb. ahha.. naw. ill be good by december i hope, by good i mean back to normal. so minimal constant pain in my knees

at mount snow last year, some guy hit the 45 footer and did a screamin seaman and he didnt get out of it so when he landed he broke his leg, it was brutal to watch

Su that's pretty sick!

As for myself, well here goes:

1 dislocated right shoulder (under rotated 720)
80+ dislocated left shoulder (ur'd backflip)
1 bankart surgery (left shoulder)
1 dislocated rib (flat bottom 5 in pipe)

1 broken medial maleola (inside ankle ball broken in two by rock just inches under the surface of the snow)

2 skier's thumbs (who doesn't have those?)
1 nearly bitten in half tongue
torn ligaments in right ankle
and 1 badly bruised ego!

BOIOIOIOIOIOING!!!

dude!!! if you just showed us a pic of your testicles, that is not cool. ughhhh.gives me the creaps.
Well I've been relatively injury free. at lest serious injuries for a few months now. last thing I did to myself was crushing three fingers with my hammer this summer. they still look bruised even though they healed long ago.

we got drunk at my friends house and tried to jump from her roof to her garage roof

ended up coming way short and hitting the wall then falling to the ground, broken elbow

Being Irish, I guess I should resent the Notre Dame nickname 'The Fighting Irish.' After all, how long do you think nicknames like 'The Bargaining Jews' or 'The Murdering Italians' would last? I tore my acl, mcl, and medial meniscus in Jan 2001 when a little grom on a snowboard cut me off and I slammed into a pole. That's the shittiest surgery in the world to recover from. Couldn't walk for a week, drive for a month, or ski for nine months.

I have an ongoing dislocated, torn MCL, torn Minicus in my right knee.
2 jammed rotator cuffs in my shoulders, dislocated shoulder blade. and numerous back injuries
