Bear Creek Jam Coming Up?

I saw in the ski gabber a few weeks ago about Bear putting on a rail jam or something. Something about them putting all the snow in the halfpipe and putting a tarp over it. Is this shit still gonna go down and when would be the date?

yeah sometime in may...they are pushing all the snow into the pipe and if needed pulling everyone in by a snowmobile tow.

yea its gunna be pimp, but its on a friday nyte so hopefully no one will show up, i hope its locals only, seriously cuz i went to the october rail jam at round top, fuck that bear creek is better off with the locals only there! they pushed mad piles of snow on kodiak, there should be no problem hitting may 13th, and you could prolly still ski the big park, the rain didnt hit us as bad as it hit hunter

im all for roundtoppers, but the thing is if you were at the round top rail jam in october, was that anyfun at all? bear isnt expecting many people, so its gunna turn into the whole snake or be snaked game, i just dont think 10,000 people is worth it

yea i actually do think they will, it really doesnt take as much snow as u think and those massize piles are huge once broken apart, theyre will be aot of snow, plus all the hit in the main park alone could make a trail top to bottom!

i think if they work to get all their snow in one spot they could have it, but like boyer said, it would be worth it no matter how much or how little snow there is

yeah the rail jam in october was fun but mad gay...WAYY to many people..i was in the boarder category and there was soooo many more..but i switched to skiing like in january so im going down to ride..i hope its sick

On their site they just changed the date to April 29th and specifically says weather permitting for the rail jam. It'd be sick and probably mad packed but I think they are starting to be skeptical they can pull it off with this weahter. April 29th is only a week away and they dont have any details up.

april 29th...friday...6-8pm...one hour for both skiers and boarders....then top 10 from each qualify...10bucks to enter...its a rail jam

yeah idk how they are gonna do it. i live about 10 minutes from bear and this weekend has been wet as shit, maybe the tarp thing worked but idk. i just dont like how its looking, its gonna be so crowded, if you know about it, just try to keep it somewhat on the dl so we dont get killed.
