ok, im on some 177 stls right now, and why i love them for jibbin and tech stuff, they really blow on jumps and all mountain stuff. i am lookin at skis for next year, and im thinkin 185 cm Volkl Karmas, or this years 186 Eric Pollard pro. Who has ridden these? the specs are very similar. but im still looking for more of a park ski than an all mountain one, i just want something that can handle jumps and landings better, as well as everything else. whatda think? oh, an its quite posible i could get a hookup on the lines
i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6

My buddy has the smaller size of the EPs, don't remember what it is exactly....170something, and he loves them. Pretty stiff flex, but he uses his for all mtn and pow days.

Freeskier said a while back that out of all the twins if they had to pick one to use as a one ski quiver it would be the Karma...apparently its the best all round
but i want some 166 ep's....

well the karma i think is lots stiffer. it has a metal inlay that runs the whole length of the ski. i ride pollards and i have ridden the karmas.

Definently go with the Karma. I have a buddy who is sponsered by volkl, and he raves about them everday. We ride all mountain at hood, and also hit up the park and rails. They can do about anything. Karma's for sure

yeah, thats the thing, i know the skis are almost identical sizewise, its just all about the flex. i am commin off STLs mind you, so the first few days on these are gonna be a little awkward. but they are mainly gonna be park skis, (its fuckin ohio) but im gonna get a good amount of skiing out of state. so, im kinda leaning more towards the pollards, just because the flex is a little softer, but i have all summer to think it over, so we'll see.

i own a pair of karmas, i'm lovin the ski... it is awsome in the pow. and awsome in the park, with the stiffness it will give u that extra lil pop u have been lookin for, they turn real nice for all mountain as well, i was surpirsed at the turning with a wide ski, but it was extremely responsive, def. go with the volkls, sick sick ski

It's about flex and it's about mounting position... the pollard is a sick ski for switch riding, whereas people who have skiied karmas along with other skis from this year say that switch is their weak point, and all out skiing is their strong point. If you're looking for an all around, either is going to be good, but given that you've just been skiing on STLs, I'm not sure you'll be all over the huge increase in stiffness when switching between STL and Karma depending on whether you're riding park or... not. On the other hand, if you were to get pollards you might not even need the STLs anymore. Pollards are, to me, the ideal one-ski-quiver ski.
