Friend bet me that i will have had sex by the time i am 40. Anyone else think that won't? Or am i the only one?? Or do you even think that it is even possible???

P.S. I have never had a girlfriend, hence i have never kissed a girl, and i am 18 years old...

you said that you don't want your life to be run by sex. and you made a bet that you won't have sex before 40. that means if some awesome girl comes along that you find you have feelings for that come despite all of your "logic" then you will not have sex with her, or probably even go out with her, even though you may want to. (and don't say you will never want a girlfriend, you cannot predict future behavior, you may meet someone amazing) since you are avoiding relationships because of your quest not to have sex then theoretically your life will be run by "sex" because it pervades your every decision. you said you were smart, think about it.

i really dont understand your reasons besides you dont want to. you honestly have absolutely no desire for sex? i suppose it is possible but then again your body is not finished maturing and the whole no desire for sex could change on you. Ok, first of it it is utterly impossible to not desire sex. It is in our genes, the need to reproduce. Its an animal instinct. If you would look past what everyone says about how bad it is, you would see that it is a natural feeling. Second, why in the hell would not want to have sex? Even if you are a strong christian, its not a sin to have sex, as long as you commit to that person. I think that you are putting on show to get people stirred up. You can't ignore nature. Its like trying not to piss by the time you are 40.
