Snow Ghost – Volume 3, Number 19
Week of April 1st, 2005
Get ready for more POW! We are pleased to announce that the Gem Lake area will re-open at 8:45am on Friday morning! In the last week, the southwest slopes of Gem Lake have received even MORE snow than Big White village! Our ski patrol and slope grooming teams will be preparing runs today and Thursday to ensure that it is safe for skiing and boarding.
Since the Westridge/Gem Lake trails were closed due to unseasonably warm weather on March 10, over ONE HUNDRED centimetres of champagne powder has fallen! Come on up and get first tracks on Sun Rype Bowl, recently named one of the world’s Top 84 Ski Runs by Great Britain’s Daily Mail skiing magazine!
...fuck thats hot

Yeah, heard it wasn't that great actually. I'm thinking maybe Monday or Tuesday would be a good time to head over there.
Apparently the new runs weren't closed off or marked off to start with, and my friend had his pass punched for riding down them.
If I don't remember it, I didn't do it.
