Replying to Gravity Games Format Opinion

Here is the bullshit format in thier minds:

Show top 3 competitors in each competition (because who cares about the rest, really). Then we'll do a lifestyle piece on an older competitor who has an interesting background, try to get them to open up as we play movie theme music. If they cry or become emotional we have captured the audience. Then break back into the comp and have each competitor point out the most obvious aspects of the event ("you can win if you link hard tricks with a smooth style") in an interview format as we build to a suspense filled finale.

The fact of the matter is that the general public is who they are going after and they like it. My mom thought it was perfect. Most people will not know the difference or difficulty between right side or left side spins and that is why OLN did it. The fact is that they shut out the people who actually support these sports in favor of having sponsors like Saturn and Snicker, which I understand. But is still sucks for us. And we end up with 4 minutes of skiing in between a Disney like story about the little boy/girl that no one believed in and made his/her dreams come true by hard work and will to win.
I am annoyed.
