i grab better with a spin therefore if i strait air it, i dont grab i just pop and bring my knees up slightly. i dont care what i look like on a striat air cuase i know later on ill throw something sick. my first hit is basically to get a judge of the speed and smoothness of a jump.

hahaha i was in the park at stowe 3 weeks ago and it was my first run through the park and stowes first table is a 5-6 foot step down kicker over 40 something feet and all these sick kids were throwing cork 3s, 7s, switch 5s, cork 7s etc....and of course i didnt want to be gay and straight air and so i just threw a 3....but i wasnt ready fort eh jumps huge amount of lip and pop and went off axis and ended up getting worked
