Replying to My parents always over-react when our van falls in a pond - - Part II

Before reading this, you'll need to read Part I

alright, there's more to the van+pond story. my cousin was my smoking buddy from the summer, and we hadn't smoked together since august, so i took him the 4H to show him how cool it was there. he loved it.

as soon as i got home from getting my van out of the water, i leave a message on his voicemail that was something like 'i just the most incredible thing happen to me. you'll love it.'

so about 6 hours later around 10:30, i get a call from my cousin. the first thing he says is 'DUDE! you think you had incredible experience today. well guess what! i came out to the 4H with a few of my friends and apparently its a pond and my car is stuck!'

this is where i pause. i think to myself, 'did i tell him about what happened yet? and is he just making fun of me for being retarded?' well i think back and realize i hadn't told him.

so i tell him the EXACT same thing had happened to me and thats why my day was incredible. so i ask him where he was stuck and, you guessed it, in the same spot i was stuck. he was stuck in the exact same hole my van was stuck in.

so he calls his friend's parents and they bring their land rover down to try and pull him out. obviously they get stuck too. so they call a tow truck, and yes, the same guy that pulled me out goes to pull him out. my cousin said he was pissed.

so this was a pretty crazy coincidence.


ps: my cousin was actually just planning on showing his friends the ice volcano and thats what they told his friend's parents they were doing. well yesterday my cousin told me that the kid's parents actually went back to the 4H to look at the ice volcano because it was cool. haha.
