Unnatural Rails Slides..

How long did it take you to learn them? I was trying the other day and it was wierd as shit. I know its all practice but damn, such a wierd feeling.

its actually pretty easy once you can do regular ones really good, cause you know exactly what to do, lean forward and commit

the trick with unnatural tricks is to ignore it when they feel awkard. try to duplicate the motions u go through in a regular railslide. it will start to feel natural soon

I naturally slide with my left foot forward so right foot forward is un natty for me. the way I learned to slide right foot first is by 270ing on to small flat boxes. I spin to my right so I was landing on the box un natty i was so concentrated on the spin i didnt think about sliding un natty. After i did this for awhile It became more natural and now I have no problem with it.

ya wen i go switch 2 rails i slide unnatural but it feels weird if i do it normaly

i have trouble with unnatural blindsides because i tend to put more weight on right foot,
so blind sides with right foot foward first are really hard for me to do

yeah my friend does rails unnatty when he comes on switch so he got unnattys real quick.. but everytime i try unnattys i fuck myself up. when i skateboard i ride goofy (right foot forward) so riding rails has always been more natural that way. i can do boxes unnatty but rails are still hard.

unnaturals arent that weird aftr a couple times, you just hav to remember to keep your weight on the front ski.

Its easy to say how to do it, but still really hard. So your best bet is to just keep working on it, and find out what feels comfortable, and how you can make it happen.

i don;t really look at it like unnaty or natural cause, like someone said above, all my switch on rail slides are "unnatural" cause when i hope on regular it's the other direction. I would never claim a switch on 'unnatural' rail slide. That's weak.

it's all about how you get on the rail the matters.
