here's what you do, get one of those pool noodles ( you know, those long foam pool toys) cut it in half lengthwise, now you've got 2 foam skis. tape em to your feet. enjoy.

by old skis, and ducky tape them up, and mount some snowblade bindings to them....much lighter

skis suck for tramps, you can rip a hole in em easy. even if the edges are duck tapped, I came down on my tramp with the tip of my ski first and ripped a huge hole in the material. you best bet, is to either make the skis out of cardboard, or buy a sheet of plexy glass, or what ever the stuff is that they put on boxs. and cut them into a good lengthed ski. then sand down the edges and tap on some old shoes. voila. there ya go.

ya, i did make some skis outta cardboard and made tape bindings that stuck onto my socks, but then they kept flopping and pissing me off, my next idea is to use cardboard but use thin pieces of wood going from tip to tail, if u guys got any other ideas to keep em stiff, let me know

I just made a pair of trampoline skis. They are made of durable foam. I put sheets of plastic of the bases to make them hold their shape, and aluminum plates under my feet. This is no joke! Unfortunately I haven't tried them yet. I have to made some sort of binding. They won't tear your tramp up, and they are lite. Any advice for a binding system?

make some straps out of velcrow like sandal straps or sumthin like that then cut a slit through the core of your homemade ski and slip it through or maybe if all else fails tape a pair of old shoes onto the skiis if they are light enough or sumthin like that

go to shopko or something then get those shitty plastic things that then tape them up... hell they have bindings and you dont even have to take of your shoes!

why are you trying to make em super light. you want them heavy to imitate actual skis. just taping shoes on is the best.
