whistle.....it has a lot of everything and its sick as fuck.....but like someone up there said, you could have a best resort in many categories...id say...
overall- Whistler
park/pipe- Mammoth
steeps- Jackson, Crested Butte or Taos
nightlife- Aspen
backcountry- Tahoe
snow- Alta or Jackson

Whistler isn't even top 10. They never even have enough snow to open up the whole mountain. Like this year they just opened for a few weeks b/c they got a little snow. I would say Vail.

fuck vail, vail has no good sustained steeps to be number one overall....and dont give me anything about the "legendary back bowls"....theyre as a steep as a green, and unless you hit them on a good powder day, its crap....so fuck you and fuck vail

I just heard that is rains in Whislter a lot and that if the whole mountain was open it could be good but that they never have enough snow to have all of it open. Plus it is basically a "park only" mountain from what I hear. Not much to do outside of that to ski. It is big though, almost as big as Vail.

What's the difference between a drunk and stoner at a stop sign???
The drunk speeds through, the stoner waits for the sign to turn green.

yeah, vail won in for "SKI" magazine, which is marketed towards 50-something posers with too much money, ie, perfect people for vail........
