Where do you all mount your ARVEE's??

Getting my ARV's in a few days. Having trouble deciding how far forward I want to mount these bad boys.... I will be skiing the ARV's in all conditions, and in the park. I have a feeling these will probably become my every day ski, as I am sick of skiing on the rossignol rigatoni fs. I have been practicing skiing switch a lot and am addicted. On my scratches it seems like mounting them a little farther forward would make my switch skiing more effortless, as the center of my boot is now over the "modern" line, which I dont think is true center.anyways, I fully intend to rock the ARV's switch in the pow pow. For those of you that ride ARV's (i am getting the 175's) where do you have your's mounted, and what does Armada reccomend? Basically, I did not buy these skis from the shop that is going to mount them and I need to be very specific about what I want, I do not want them to mount them incorrectly. HELP ME DUDES! What should I do? My dilema is I do not want to ruin the "skiability" of these boards by mounting them to far foward, I feel like there is a sweet spot that is different on most skis, what is the sweet spot?

i assume u will be riding pow, but i would mount them dead center, there pretty long so i dont think it will matter in pow, i wouldnt go past center unless u were amazing at riding switch.

there is no way I would go farther foward then center. What I am wondering is if i should go farther back than center slightly. Like a centimeter or two back from center? If I mount them center, I will probably get used to it and it won't make a difference in the long run right?

youll get used to it and love it in park, itll ride switch real good, and i think it helps spin better, but it wont be to good on groomers.

Those are the ONLY places I can mount them? Is +3 true center, and +1 more traditional J.D. May? Or do you mean +3 centimeters from the middle of the ski? SO like more tail then tip? I am confused...

Id mount em regular man. Theyre sick skis, and if you wanna use em all around, the typical place is the best.

I was referring to the mounting line. +3 for a park mount, +1 for all mountain. +1 is the standard reccomended mount. These are in cm from the mounting line.

yeah, I tried the 175 arv's for a day, mounted at +1 and they were awesome. Even if you're skiing switch a lot they should be great.

i'm not sure about arvs, but the mount line on my jp vs. juliens seems pretty far forward for a pow ski. i originally mounted them at the suggested point and didn't like it, so i went -2 from the line and they are perfect.

if the line is in the same place on the arvs, definitely don't go +3 from there or even +1 unless you want the tips diving in the pow.

hey man. I mounted my ARVs 2 cm above traditional/recommended and they were great. Honestly, two thing: if you are buying pow skis,d ont try to turn them into a park ski. Yes, they are fine in the park, but don't mount them based on how they will perform on a groomed surface. second, switch skiing gets old (in my opinion). Sure it is fun and challenging, but after you can go through the bumps switch, it gets old. I would say DO NOT mount them center, buat at mayb +3 or +4 from traditional. Enjoy!
