So I am pretty experienced with setting up pretty cheap vacations like backpacking and canoeing. I just got back from a weeklong backpacking/canoeing trip to Mexico that was really cool/ really cheap. Does anyone know about any ways to do a week long trip to backpack the British Virgin Islands/Europe/Central America/Asia for under $1000? My friends and I want to do a trip for the end of the summer or maybe Christmas. I think airfare is the thing that comes to bite you in the ass. Any suggestions for getting there/ staying there would be appreciated.
