sounds interesting. So I dont really get this. Is it over how the workers are treated and taken advantage or something by the huge companies. Please explain.

My roommate watches the show, also it's pretty common knowledge. I have a lot of friends who don't allow me to call them on Thursdays from 8-9.

What happened is the owners and managers of these companies abanoded their workers because they weren't making any money. The workers didn't know what to do, so they kept on working, and eventually turned the companies profitable without any sort of management. So profitable infact that many companies actually ended up hiring more employees. This was common as thens of thousands of workers in Argentina were employed by worker owned companies. Anyway, after the companies became profitable again the owners are coming back and trying to take over again. Legally they have the right since the assets are theirs, but I'm sure you can all see how BS this is. Thankfully, expropriation, the government takeover of foriegn business is legal, but the governement is pressed by the IMF to privatize, and NOT support the people. The people in turn didn't support the government and overthrew 4 different governments in just 2 weeks. I'm already getting long winded here, but I've done some research on the Argentina Debt Crisis, so feel free to ask me questions, I'll do by mest to answer them.

I'm not sure it's propoganda though. Argentina has really taken it in the ass since the fall of the military dictatorship. A short list for you:
Banking system fell over night, meaning citizens couldn't get their money.
Country defaulted and debt and went bankrupt.
Saw 5 presidents in 2 weeks.
Country went from as being much a prospect as Canada and having the richest middle class in South America to having 50% of it's population living below the poverty line.
Tens of thousands of workers abandoned and alienated.
