I can't tell whether im pulling tail or safety, whats the difference between the 2?

tail your skis are crossed, and your grabbing almost all the way back on your ski
a saftey is right under you boot

What? Tail is when you grab the end or almost the end of your ski. No need to be crossed. Looks better uncrossed, mind you.

Yeah, It can be tail with or without crossed skis. I like crossed better, but skiing is about what YOU like, not what other people think. Too many people forget that.

if i recall an illegal grab (popularized by a evan raps) is an uncrossed tail, because a tail is usually crossed
