Replying to The absolute best snow year in years!

So as most know by now, the snow conditions in the south of france on the pyrenees have been an absolute miracle. Many resorts are planning on staying open through the month of may instead of closing end of march (its been snowing since october), and the forecasts seem pretty snowy! I have heard many theories as to the cause, lots of praying, seasonal trend etc. But I want to know what everyone's thoughts are? Is this an indicator of what is to come in upcoming years? I certainly hope so!
