Big problem

i just got a mini ipod. just put all my music on it. all 600 some songs. sooo its working fine. my computer is gay and its freezing up so i figure i'll delete the music on it b/c its already on my ipod. and BOOM the music on my ipod disapeers too. ALL 600 FUCKING SONGS. what did i do wrong?

you have to de-select the auto-update thing... if you don't set it to manual, then every time you plug your ipod into your computer, it will automatically configure itself to mirror your iTunes library.

and if you don't select manual then you won't be able to plug it back intp your own PC after stealing gallons of musical delights from other people's computers, which is half the fun of having an ipod.
