not really, on just try drilling into it and screwing wood and stuff onto it to make it stable

how thick is it? i used a drill bit and put a screw in a 2x4 before. It ruined the drill bit, but hey, it was fun

if it's metal i dont think you want to drill into it. just get shit to prop it up. For instance, we found an old fridge someone was throwing out, then drilled two small 2x4s into the side of it in the shape of a V. it kept the rail from moving around, we put the other end on the ground. you could also wait til there's some snowfall and just build a small base out of that. get creative.

You should take a metals shop class at your local
high school. They'll teach you every thing you need to know.

heres my tip steal some more medal pipes and weld four pieces to the rail so that it looks like a sawhorse. hopefully you know what a sawhorse looks like.

Get a hacksaw and just steal entire metal hand rails.

werts has the right idea, i know you said without welding, but it is sooo easy, if you know anyone at your school(if you still go to school) then they will probably do it for you, otherwise, go to a car repair shop an dask them to do it, they'll for sure have a welder you just need to tell them what shape, and get four more small pipes
