Mounting bindings

when everybody says +3 or +5 or whatever is that in inches or in centimeters, and i know this is a stupid question but i've always got my skis mounted where they're recommended to be mounted

im geussin the +3 and all is how far the mounting spot is from the recomended place in cm

most of the kids on this website are idiots...thats why we need a fucking good magazine so that they can tell you were the pros rock them. That way all the idiots on this site would figure out everyone that matters center mounts their shit.

actually most people do not center mount their park skis, nor should they...most skis are not designed to be centered...and most skiers would not benfit at all from a centered stance. Unless you have some crazy skidding monkey style, only go 2 to 4 cm foward of refernce, otherwise you start changing the skis flex and sidecut relative to your stance
