not really....its only expensive if you go to camp...my advice: go to a really high pass somewhere in the mountains, park at the top, and go ski. Its really actually dirt cheap.....

I'm poor as hell, I ski all summer, but have to hike like 6 miles to get to 100 yard long glaciers to build kickers on. New Zealand doesn't cost that much if you have a job down there, employers will pay your way down alot of times.

Ill hike breck and coppers park until that goes to slush, then hitting up all sorts of couliours and what not in the high alpine areas of colorado.
