Moships strengths: softer, fatter, cheaper, longer, shorter, really good in nice soft powder.
Cons: Suck shit in heavy pow, new ones don't look that great, too soft for some, don't you even think about riding them in the east.
Scratches pros- Sweet graphics, stiffer, rips the park, and pow with the same effect.
Cons- Price, not long eough, too long for some
conclusion, if you live outwest, and only ski in dry light powder, ride moships, for anything and everything else, as well as pow, scratch bc

the new motherships are a bit stiffer, but the old ones where flimsy as hell. they are a super beafy ski, and good for BC but medium in the park. The scratch has good edge control and you can ski it anywhere. and like you said your a big guy looking for a park driven ski, but it hasta be all mountain, your scratch bc is the way to go, the scratch fs is good to, its just alot skinner and easier to spin due to its center mounting.

the BC is plenty long enought for pure park. Its goes up to 188! I mean how tall r u?! and its also pretty dang close to center mount, just not quite.

Motherships are a bit stiffer, and the scratch bc has a kinda soft tail, so that it's almost center mounted tail doesn't sink in, but the bc is overall stiffer.
