yeah I saw that one the other day, I'm pretty sure its Illinois anyway because I saw an episode where they had a phone number with the first (***) digits and I looked it up on the internet and it was illinois

I don't think it's any real Springfield because it's right by the ocean, it's surrounded by a huge canyon, and West Springfield is larger than Texas.

SPRINGFIELD: I've read that it's actually based Eugene oregon. Groening went to college there and Moe's is based on a bar he used to hang out at...there are a lot of things that stem from the U. of O and Eugene...

i thought it was ILLinois, or however you spell it, if you look at the episode when bart has to give blood to Mr Burns, homer sends a thank you card to Mr burns and his address is on it. you can see that it says IL in the corner of the address. somebody check this for me.

i think it was kentucky. in the one episode where they go to steal sugar homer thinks south of the boarder is whatever state is below kentucky. i figured it out once

according to my friends and i, its oregon or washington. they have tons of snow, like in the shows. its possible to drive to redwood trees from those two locations (drive there in a day or less). and medicinal marijuana is legal. if this is also true in kentucky, thats hte place because the view looked like that. but these are the clues we've compiled
