my friend just used normal spray paint to make his skis camo. i wonder if u could take them to a place that paints cars and have them paint your skis bc that would look realy nice but it would cost a ton of $

spray paint chips off, and i want to make a design too so spray paint wont work

I'm pretty sure you can use whatever paint you want... just use some sandpaper to make it rough so the paint will stick... oh and make sure to get a good clear WATERPROOF topcoat (this can be spray paint)... its amazing how many people paint their skis and then go skiing just to realize that their paint isn't waterproof... its a sad sight

if there like skis im going to use on a handrail i throw down some tape in a design.... spray paint it with a basecoat, keep the tape on, let it dry, then do another coat with a diff color to add effects such as a shadow or a change of color from one end to another... then rip the tape off when it drys and there you go
