Wakeboard name are way cooler

Ok so i was watching wakeboarding yesterday on TV because i was super bored and i asked myself why doesnt skiing have cool trick names like wakeboarding? Skiing has some cool names like screamin seemin, misty, rodeo etc but every trick in wakeboarding has a different name. Like if they spin a little different, or more degrees (180, 360 etc). We just call everything simply i guess like D-spin 900 or rodeo 540, whereas they have names like scarecrow, tootsy roll, cro-mag etc... I just thought it was pretty cool. I dont personally wakeboard but its allright to watch and the whole name thing amazed me. Thoughts?

i thik that is sortalame, it would just make things way more complicated, it is sorta unique, but lets keep it simple eh?

I don't know, we already have enough aguments on Toxic/Tail, etc. I thinkt that the system we have is the simplest thing that still works.

Yeah, skiing needs a 'hoochie slide' like in wakeboarding. Except in wakeboarding, they don't jib like skiers, they do sliders. Wakeboarding needs jibbing. We can trade jibbing for a hoochie slide!

there are a lot of the different names in wakeboarding, and i think the wakeboard pros are better in naming tricks. I don't mean to correct you but i will, it isn't hoochie slide, it is hoochie glide, and it is a jump where the rider airs off the wake pushes the board back behind their head to an inverted point and grabs usually method. It is an air raley with a grab. I think it would be dope to have a cable park on the snow, that way you could do like wake tricks, and raleys and shit.

wakeboarders and wakeskaters do a lot of jibbing. in a new film coming out, theres a slider to the top of a uhaul truck, a small pool of water on the top of the truck, and a slider down. thats crazy shit. and they have crazy slider setups too

i thought we were talking about names. wakeboarding is undoubtedly kick ass. its a killer off snow training activity and its a sport that involves water and hot weather which means fit, beautiful people.

Yeah I love wakeboarding, next to skiing. It keeps me pre-occupied in the summer. I dont pay any attention to all of the names for wakeboarding tricks out there. I do it because it is fun. Same with skiing.
