Problems with my desktop!!! Help a brutha out.

Ok, so one day i get on my computer and my icons aren't showing up, and to top things off, i have this image of something like a cd rom drive or something overtop of all my icons and i can't make it go away, so what i wanna do is get rid of that stupid cd rom image thing over all the icons, how do i do that, here is an image of my desktop so all you computer wizz's here know what is goin on.



please help me out, i just want to get rid of that cd rom thing the rest i can figure out on my own. Even when i create a new shortcut that cd thing comes up so im not sure how i go about getting rid of it.
