so i called up a basin and they arent going to open on oct 15th, they said its a rumor. they dont have a date set to open but it may happen the end of next week. just thought you should know.

Went on saturday. Snow was good... too many people... huge snowball fights... they had a rail and a box setup, also kids had built jumps all over the place... I saw quite a few 3's being thrown and one 5. Fun time.
P.S. --Reactors did great... no releases, but I wasn't dissapointed whatsoever.
also.. josh, I am thinking the mad trixs might need remounting at some point, but I am gonna ride them a few more time before I decide.

I went Sunday...same thing...busy by mid-day...snow was kinda crusty, but not bad for 10/25! The lift guys were talking about the snowball fight saying that if anyone started one again they would shot down the lift!!

Can u believe that someone threw a 5 off that stupid little lip next to the rails?? I have no idea how he got so much pop, but shit. It was cool. I also saw a couple corked 180's with a hand down on the lip... pretty sick too. I am hoping they'll have something more open for this next weekend.

Hopefully it snows some more before this weekend. Probably going up tomorrow when there are way less people to deal with. When I left yeterday and looked back as I was going up the pass, the run looked like a swarm of ants, not a ski run.

They had a 10 foot rail up when i went there. but the line was ridiculous and i took a fat snowball to the face.

The Basin was alright...snow was kinda choppy on Sunday and the lines were enormous by 11am. I'm going tomorrow, so hopefully there aren't many people there.
