NZ to USA/Canada!!!

yo dudes, ok heres my situation when i finish school,(next year) me and a friend are planning to come to US and Canada to go skiing maybe work or something for like 3 months, but i have no fucken idea what its like over there, i have never been overseas, and i wouldn't know how the fuck to go about where to stay, where to work, where to go, where not to go, what to do, where to ski, etc etc. All i know really about america is that they have a dude on the police force that can make real cool noises! haha police acadamy.

SO i was also thinking i wanna ski whistler and mammoth and stuff, but do they get crowds??? Is that a wise idea?
so i have no idea what im doing or where to go or how to go about getting around and stuff, reading this it doesn't make much sense but im not writing it again, so if anyone is gtting my drift, please help me out!!!!!!

please help me, what do i do?

Canada is Australia north, the only difference is it's fucking cold here and we don't don't say 'beeeah'. The attitude and basically everything else is pretty much the same. Just get a map to figure out where everything is, then getting to whis is pretty easy since it's so close to vancouver.

canada rocks, and yes whistler and mammoth get busy. they are two of the most popular resorts in the world. go to canmore, just outside of banff. there are 5 resorts under an hour away, and if you are willing to driv for a couple of hours the number of resorts double.
