178 vs. 165 concepts

Are the 178's harder to spin? Obviously a little bit, but would you even be able to tell the difference. I'm 6 foot and only 125 lbs., and the 165 seems too short. But I want to make sure I can still spin the 178's.

If your 6 foot you better get the 178's , Ive had the concepts for 3 years now and their so easy to spin. I just got the new concepts size 178 but the weird thing is they line up exactly to the length of th eold concepts which were size 180, but theres really no difference, But yes get the 180's and the 165's are ugly as hell

dont listen to him. i am 5' 11' and 135 and without a dought i am getting the 165's if anything. the 178 will be to long. with todays skis its all about the weight and not so much the height. if your that light i would strongly recomend getting the 165. my friend is about 145 and he is getting the 161 cm 1080's so i wouldnt recomend going anything over a 173.

yeah actually I never saw that you were only 125 pounds? Im not really sure which ones you should get, I know Im 6 foot and weigh 165 so I got the 180's but Im not really sure for you, I Know that the 165's would be too short and I wanta ski more than just the park. For me I like a ski thats not to short because they handle better in the back country, but get whatever floats your boat

actually they fucked up the concept 178, it is actually the candide with new concept graphics. Its 180cm, and pretty stiff. So get the 165, you seem kinda skinny, and weight also has a lot to do with it
