As the seaosn approaches and were all filling are imaginationsd with backountry hits memorable table hucks and a trip into the backcountry lets sit back and refelct on the essence of jsut riding. Go out there and remebr why you started skiing in the first place. Because we sure as hell know it snot because we heard about the new dragon pipe groomer at the local hill or the new director of the snowpark. It was cuz we like the feeling of cruisin on planks sjut having skiing doesn thave to be racings but jsut relaxing . As all newschoolers we should all maybe step back this year a little and not be such park rats and get back to the grassroots of skiing and chill. Because there will always be a time to hit the BC or the park but remeber in order to be good ksiers we gott ahavesolidbases and thats starts by being technically sound on a regular slope. So this yea ri urge us all to sjut rip it up old skool style and jsut have fun and forget baout classifying ourselves asnewschoolers, bigmountian and racing or tourist................

i find its good to have a balance between park and riding, but at blue mountain there isn't to much you can really do

yeah, when the groomer is fresh and the park is still rock solid in the morning we always take a few50 mph speed runs to warm up, and we always throw a little flatland style into it.

well some of us that dont have parks, would like to be able to get off the groomed runs for once, and actually ride a park.

Glad to hear about it from someone else. I love the park, cause it's so fun, but i enjoy fresh powder in the morning, taking it on a groomer every once in a while, or going down a moghul run. Skiing for me is cliffs, powder, park, enything and everthing. It's just pure joy to be strapped into skis. Thank for sharing this everyone on ns.
WA skiers are cool. I'm a WA skier. I'm cool. You know, Washington apples are cool too. . .
