Happy Days

I have seen a few Ski Movies in my day and I have to say that Happy Days is by far the worst. Don't get me wrong the skiers in this movie are amazing and deserve a lot of credit they just need to learn how to ski big mountain and Johnny needs to put some real skiing into his movies. He also needs to give some credit to guys like Jon McMurray and Jordan Monk (who is shown on top of the podium at the US OPEN during Candide Thovex's Part) My recomendation would be to not waste your time with Happy Days and spend your money on ski movie 3 instead!!

people act like they didn't know this was gonna be a super jib flick...fuckin read who the riders in the film are before you buy it and you will know if there is gonna be big mountain segs....fuck sake

oh and just a sidenote to my comment: I am in no way saying that the riders in Happy Dayz don't ski big mountain. They just don't film it very often.

Id have to say that HD was pretty damn good. And like they said if you dont want to see jibbing dont watch it. Actually maybe you could learn a thing or two from it. Strange how your video is so weak, yet your putting down Jonnys. Switch nine safety eh? I guess you didnt learn that in the park. Or maybe you just didnt learn it at all? Hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? You say they should learn to ski? The one line you did in your 'first part of little vid' was also somewhat sad. I didnt bother to watch the others. Anyway, i dont mean to sound like a dick, but if you say stupid things then expect it.

I saw tanner and the boys in europe this year. one of them hit an old lady while skiing down a marked trail. yeah, they sure rip the big mountains!!

i think that pollard and cr proved that alot of the park boys CAN actually ski big mountain, if they can i bet tanner can also,. he has sure lived at the mountains for it. big sky, squaw, mammoth

however, i still think mike douglas is the best. He is really good in the park, and awesome in pow. He started the switch in pow craze, and he wasn't afraid to eat shit, so many times to perfect it. He also wasn't afraid on skiin on some1 elses pro model, unlike candide

I find that after the 5th time the big mountain segs just seem to get the fast forward treatment, they lack the ability to draw me back again and again. dont get me wrong i am super impressed by what the big mountain guys do and i would dog the park for a sick powder day but its just doesnt have the repetitve draw that people boostin elite airs does on the screen.

I would think that tannerr has some skill in the back country due to the fact that he is doing zero spins off of cliffs..But yea it doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess what will be in a PBP movie and I think that it was awesome

yeah ure an idiot. It was fuckin sick it may not have big mountain in it but then again its a PBP movie if u wanted big mountain u should know that PBP is not gonna give it to you IDIOT! if u want big mountain get The Prophecy or The Front Line

just so you know...monk and mcmurray weren't even on ANY podium and the us open...i don't think mcmurray even podiumed at anything, monk DID get first at the WSI superpipe, but they don;t show him
and happy dayz is a NASTY movie....i've watched it about 5 times since 10 last night

well actually as good as the skiing and tricks were in happy dayz i dont think it lives up to Propaganda. The segments are all too similar, like they all hit the same rails and urban rails and stuff. In propaganda everyone's segment had a unique feel to it, like JP Auclair with the bus stop rail and the loop, spence and pollard with roller coaster. Pollard did a lot of quarter pipe stuff. Boronowski did a lot of rails, i think it was Shane that had the hedges thing, etc. I also liked the music and editing a little better in Propaganda. Happy Dayz was still sick though.
