All skis will eventually bust on jibs, so with that in mind, I've really have never heard of volkl's delaminating or busting. They're supposted to be pretty nice, same with dynastars. Sorry i haven't personally ridden either ski, but i hope it helps.

Oh yeah, boots. Anything Rossi works pretty well. Atomics are supposed to be nice boots (and their skis kick).

go to a shop that does bootfitting, tell them what type of skiing you do. and go from there. you cant rally ask what is a good boot, cause a truely good boot is the boot that fits you right. what ever boot fits your foot the best, will result in a smooth comfterble ride. also look into custom footbeds, they distribute the pressure evenly among your foot which means that overall your feet will hurt less.

i hate it when people ask what boot they should buy. the right boot for you is one that fits. that is more important than anything else.

Yha boots is a personal choice, but do you have a fat foot, anrro foot, high insstep....I love langes, specially the L10 race but I am stiff boot guy, They are for narrow feet. Get Dynastar / look setup. The edges have seen ebtter days on rails but awesome skis.

If your foot is wide get Salomans, thas what i ride, get 1080, or the lange jib boot is good as well, as for skiis, get dynastars, they are really durable, and look p12 bindings are great..

i've got last years atomic 10.50 freeride boots and they are really cozie and light at the same time. i've had nordic, technica, and rossi, but so far these atomics are the best. i'll be hanging on to them for a while.
