Can any one tell me where i can find some information on the chutes on the back side of Stowe. Like which ones are skiable ect..?

Thats highly classified info. If we were to tell you we would have to kill you. Theres a couple chutes, all require hiking out or up to get out. Some steep and tight, others more mellow. You could e-mail me for some more info if you'd like. There used to be an old thread on powdermag.com with a whole description on them. All I'm gonna say is they are off the Chin. Ask around, just not on a forum. Also, for more east coast backcountry info check out this book. Good resource.

hahah, your not gonna find out about the good stuff at stowe unless you start skiing with the locals. There are lots there though, so look around.

smuggs'closest comparison to that is the backbowls which are also pretty damn nice...if you go check it out in skier...they talk about smuggs and stowes 'backcountry' i found it pretty interesting just to see the name smuggs in there...

Hey, there is a site for the stowe scene, check out www.13pitch.com mostly a snowboarders site if i remember correctly, but its got some good shit. -Sam
