When watching a porno on dvd...they have muliple camera angles stored on the disc...so at any point you can change the camera and get a different angle on the action.

now THAT'S useful technology.

yep, multiple angles, not sure if any ski vids will have this on the DVD though, the DVD has to have them put on for it to work.

theoreticaly you could make a ski movie with two different camera angles for a dvd, but it would pose a few serious difuculties: obviously you would have to have two cameras everywhere, all the time. The way the two tracks work together on the DVD is kind of confusing, they must be the exact same length, and if you cut scenes to a different location both camera angles must cut at the exact same time. Reason is: DVD video and audio tracks are separate streams that get 'Multiplexed' or mixed together off the disc and played on the TV or computer. If the two video tracks don't match up perfect, the audio will start to drift out of sync on one of the tracks.

So basicly it would be a serious pain in the ass to make a ski video with two video tracks. Its very comon in porn because it is such a controled environment, two people (hopfuly 3 or 4) in a room doin their thing, two cameras record the whole scene, they are matched up in editing then bam, instant double angle action.

Technology is great!

Ya, but you dont have to do it for the whole vid, just throw in like 10-15 shots with multiple angles, let the viewers find them or just put it in the book. It would be pretty neat actually.
