Yah lax rules. I had this P.E. teacher 2 yrs ago and thats about all we did for the whole year. It was so cool because he was one of those gym teachers that doesn't take crap from whinney people. He was always like 'play hard or go home'. He didn't care how rough we played. Lax is such a fun sport.

after school every day i have to go to lacrosse till 6 then i have out of school lacrosse from 6 till 8 there are lights at the field we play on and they let us use them fro practice, it's been getting bigger and bigger every year, but with all the lacrosse it's tuff to get much skiing in during the spring lucky the snow sucks in pa during the spring and all the mountains are almost closed

seriously lax is like hockey on grass, you get beat up more cuase sticks hurt like shit, and unless you're a pussy you don't have much shit other then shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, helmet, nothing around ur stomach hips back, legs, etc.

its super fun, and takes as much skill as any other sport. to be good you have to learn to use both hands, thats like trying to learn to throw a baseball your opposite hand, well. its hard.

ok well if you guys enjoy it, more power to you. one thing you don't see though are crowds of 3 or 4 thousand for high school lacrosse games, like many football games. lacrosse isn't high on my list of sports I wanna watch. although I do think it's cool the girls wear skirts.

in maryland and on long island, where lacrosse is most popular, there are crowds of 5000+ people watching thte big games.

where lacrosse isnt popular, u dont get the crowds. same with football, where i live in CT, football isnt big, lacrosse is. so the crowds for football arent big.

ok.... the MLL (major lacrosse league) has thousands of fans coming out. the NLL (national lacrosse league) has around 8 or 9 thousand fans at each game. and its still growing. and FRZ gene. u wear shoulder pads? all u need is slash guards, gloves, helmet and jock. when its cold i wear shoulder pads. lacrosse is one of the best sports to watch. a lot like hockey. and the sticks you use in gym are so shitty. its not even close to regular lacrosse. when we play it in gym i take my revy and school EVERYONE.

in maryland you have to wear shoulder pads even in the miaa, (the league witht he top schools in the country)but when there is a lacrosse game everyone comes out to watch it everyone at both schools go it's a big deal where i live

Lacrosse is blowing up. mll expanding to the west coast, really competitive college, second highest attended national championship(so the commercial says). The only problem is that the season cuts my skiing short.

its true. lacrosse is the second best selling event in the ncaa, basketball being number 1. btw syracuse is not doin to hot this year. im not a fan but they only beat hobart by 2 and they lost to army by 2.

box lax is a little different than just indoor. I play indoor on a field with no boards. Its like outdoor ecxept smaller field and the rules are a little different. in box, there are boards, and really tiny goals. Its so much faster and funner then outdoor.

i used to lax and basically could have been on varsity, but then i realized that there is nothing i despise more than running. i hate it with a passion. and since i played middie, there was no way that was gonna happen.

move to attack or d? for me the only thing that sucks about lax is the first 2 weeks, because we run 3-5 miles a day and then do sprints and its everyday of the week. plus i live in vt so we have to do it all in the parking lot and you get nasty shin splints and its fucking cold.
