weed that is. why do so many people think that it's so bad to do, and yet they drink? that pisses me off when people say that they will drink and not smoke. first off, weed is not addictive, alcohol is. second, you can't o/d on weed, you can get alcohol poisoning and die. people don't look at the facts, they think that just because it's illegal it's the worst thing you could ever do. it just pisses me off.

what's everybody else's opinion?

actually i do live in a little town where the average income is $35,000 a tear, my family brings in about $100,000.

Man, weed is addictive. More so then alcohol actually. But people that are completely anti are just afraid of it. Me, I just don't like the effects. I hate bein all tired and sluggish. I'd rather be up and doin something. Hence why I drink more. I get happy energetic and FUCKIN horny!! What else could one ask for? But if i don't have booze, I'll smoke til my legs dissapear.

I don't drink, or smoke any weed or smoke or do any drugs. And I don't think there's anything wrong with it either. I just don't do it for myself. I don't do it because I don't care. On an average Friday night I have stuff to do.
What I do have to say is that weed isn't regulated well enough. I think that they should sell weed the way they sell alcohol and they should grow it and package in a controled enviroment. Otherwise you can buy a dangerous batch and screw yourself over. They make e in this one country and sell it over the counter and I think that's the way it should be with pot everywhere where alcohol is legal. So yeah, same rules should apply. I think that if they legalized marijuana, they should apply all the same laws as alcohol: like if you smoke and drive, you should be penalized. It DOES do different things to your brain than alcohol, but it's still dangerous to drive when you're under the influence of any drug.

so heres how it goes.
i live in a city about 20 mins east of toronto. contrary to popular belief my region is actually the weed capital of canada, knocking out vancouver by a tiny little bit.
i wasnt intorduced to weed till i met a couple guys at my school who could get whenever.
i had absolutly no idea hod big weed is and how much people actually do do it, despite what they say.

each year my region spends millions of dollars busting fields and shit to make weed bust. to make a long story short, millions could be saved if it was legal.

i have smoked before and dont think it is nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
i agree with the guys saying why the fuck will people drink but not smoke.
without getting to scientific, its been proven that alchohol actually is worse for the body and mind than weed. it fucks up all your nerves and actually slowly starts to kill them. also when your drunk, it is 100 times worse then being high. it completely fucks with your head, everything gets blurry, you get violent, well weed just puts you to sleep.

my parents dont know i have tried and im sure they would beat the fuck out of me if they knew. but point being weed is shunned upon because it is considered to be so taboo or some shit. if it was legal and you had the choice to freely do it then half the people out there would not be talkin smack about weed.

and as for all the stereotypes that go along with it, they are bullshit, there is a difference between doing drugs and abusing drugs. for the people that are doing them all the time and just acting fucking stupid well then fuck them. but for the people that do it everyonce and awhile just for the hell of it, go nuts.

funniest shit ever, i was downtown toronto for a job interview to work at a golf course. turns out the interviewer was one of my uncles friends. he reachs into his desk, grabs a joint, and off to the golf course we go. this is a man that owns 4 golf courses, drives a fucking roles royce, and makes more money than i can fucking count (and i am the proud owner of a 15 digit calculator).

so bottom line being for those people that dont smoke. try it, if you dont like it then you dont like it. but dont shun those who enjoy the company of mary j.

i dont like bum sex, but if my gf says hey put it in my bum and i gonna say ewwww fuck that you nasty bitch and run on home.

ahahahaha. seward, i actually work at a golf course and smoke all the time golfing. I dont shot so good when im stoned but taking the proshop cart out is the best time known to man. Im gonna be in toronto in april for 4 nights on a band trip. the trip is gonna be gay b/c we have to go to some stupid band music festival/competition. but anyway, me and my friends are gonna throw a kickass party every night in our hotel room. im looking for some toronto area locals that may want to join. maybe ill talk to you about it closer to april when i know what hotel we'll be at. How hard is it gonna be to get herb and booze across the border? we'll have a charter bus so i figure their not gonna search it if they know we are a fucking high school band right?

Well sir I used to smoke A LOT, like everyday multiple times a day in college. I got a straight 3.3 average and private university so I was happy but damn. Pot really is a way to escape reality and anyone who says it is completely harmless is either way biased or a dumbass. It takes a certain kind of person to handle smoking cause lets face it, it is more fun than doing homework or exercising or buying gifts for family members. You need to know when other priorities are more important. That's why I think younger kids (like you high schoolers) shouldn't be smoking. It fucks up your lives cause like some of you said earlier, you lose your motivation. Why worry about shit when you can just get blazed and eat some food? I quit but I still like to hang out with my buddies when they smoke cause lets face it, stoners are fun and I like to talk to them. I used to be one. Heavy smoking is bad, occaisional is good. That's my opinion on it.

I think there are people who shouldnt smoke in high school i guess but most people can handle it and it doesnt effect them that much. The point i disagree with most people on is ill admit weed is a gateway drug. I know dealers and stuff casue i smoke and that gives me accsess to more drugs, and I have done lots that i would never have had a way to get if weed was like alcohol where you get some old guy you work with to get it for you. I dont think smoking bud has messed up my brain but tripping and rolling have like i can feel my head not moving as fast anymore.

no band trip to toronto could ever be boring. theres tons of shit to do, and hotels parties are the shit.

i personally wouldnt bring over weed or booze cause
a) american weed is shit
b) its exspensive
c) if you do get caught at the border your going to jail.

plus there is shit loads of places to get it around here, just its kinda hard in toronto without getting bit. how old are you anyway? cause if you got id ill show you where all the kick ass rippers are.

exactly moderation is key, smoking and/or drinking are both bad in certain contexts. so if you wanna smoke and/or drink dont be dumb about it. once you start to grow up you realize quite a few things trust me on that one.

I blaze on occasion... but to tell you the complete truth, I like drinking better... Pot just makes me feel really sketchy.. especially when its cold out cause i get really shaky and its not fun... When i do blaze tho i like to drink a casual beer to get rid of the sketchiness... Also when i drink it does't make me angrey or depressed or anything... Drinking always makes me happy and silly...
