Making twins

K so i am jst making twins outta an old pair of shits and i get stuck wat can i put on the vvery top layer when i am almost finished to make sure everything stays down. So like really wat is on the top of all skis or wat is a good reaplacement i could use.

Sounds skinda cool to make ur own. Ask a shop or a ski company what they use and how you can get some.

try coating it all with epoxy or some kind of resin. Like the shit you use to finish some wood furniture. The hardware store might have some.

u want something durable that won't peal off, i take it. Do you have any texallium topsheets lol. If not, then try mixture of waxes, and easy metals. Some plastics wouldn't be bad to put in the waxes. I would pbly say that if you wrap the thing in heated aluminium(very unlikely that u can do a job like that), with a very thin layer of plasta-wax, between it. If that doesn't work, then you can buy my brand new 1080's. I will take offers, reasonable ones at least

i'm not sure ifthis will help, but i met a kid that made his own twins, and they delammed, we just put two rivets in each rear tip and left it. he said he just heated them up with a torch and bent those bitches upward. the rivets will work but eventually the whole tip will break off.

First of all New0 you ask for help and then when some guys joke around you give them shit for spending too much time on a computer and not skiing and you asking how to keep an old ski from coming apart? Sounds like your the one who needs more time on the hill...and by the way the best method is to drill some holes around the tail in a creasent moon shape and put rivets in them. The bitch will stay as tight as a virgin!

Freeze online once had a picture documented step by step process for doing it, but if memory serves me it's just drill em, rivet em, cut em(if you wish), heat em(oven 350°), bend em(wearing work gloves) and voila your ready to huck :-)

my friend tried this with some old bright yellow rossis, and he used a blowtorch to heat the tails up and then he bent them up with metal tongs and put em in water to cool down. it was hilarious when they came out, they were all bubbly and gross, but they were useable twinnies. after like a year they bent back though
