Boots

What are some good boots and bindings to get? Money's not a huge huge issue, but I'm not Bill Gates either. I do get soem crazy discounts though, and it looks like I can choose from Rossi or Salomon for boots, and Rossi, Tyrolia, and Salomon for bindings. I think it would be a good idea to pair boots and bindings from the same company, right?

it doenst matter if the bindings and boots are of the same company. its better to get bindings and skis from the same company because it sometimes extends the warranty. definitely get rossi bindings. for boots, go to your store and buy what fits the best.

actually, it's getting to the point where having the same brand bindings and boots (even more specifically same line) can make a big difference in performance.

I am not going to really get into the specifics, but there are a couple companies whose boots and bindings work the best together specifically rossignol.

what he said. Atomic made this brand new technology, 2 years ago(ahah, i'm a riot). The ski binding and boot work together, best shit i've ridden. Plus the boot that should be on the top of you list is atomic 5.45. Low culf for jibbin, decent flex, good all mtn boot

Well right now my choice can only be Rossi or Salomon, so I've narrowed it down to this:
Salomon s912 ti pe2 binding with Salomon 1080 boots
OR
Rossignol Axial Power 140 binding with Rossignol Free X or Soft 1 boots

I've been rockin the freeride xx boots for 2 years now..and i have no complaints. They fucking rip. Though if you might have to get the toe widened.
