the 2003 seasons is a few months away.

what do you guys have planned for your bag of tricks? do you plan on going to any big mountains? do you think there will be any new tricks invented? who will become a star in the season of 2003? lets talk, im anxious, god damnit.

i'm gonna invent a trick called the mute grab. it will kick ass, and other than that i am gonna ski tremblant, jay peak and bormio, which is in italy and is also kickass.

yes seriously last year the snow was fucking horrible, and i didn't get to ski till december 27th.

Im gonna try to go from shitty 3s to possible cork 7s this season. Ive been workin the ut sports park water ramp so it should be pretty easy. I hope to go to mammoth or parkasaurus 4.

water ramping is a lil different than snow- for example i can full and front on water..not snow.

however thats where i leanred my backs.

...possibly...loveland will open in a month or so...possibly. Im skeptical but one of the reps said they will probably open before halloween. Anyway some of the peaks here in CO have snow on them and I got my pass so Im psyched.

Last year my home mountain opened November 30 and Closed April 7. Hopefully sooner and later this year.

joshbryant told me it snowed today in Breck, so there! November 2nd is Copper's predicted opening date. I think Breck's is like the 22nd or something.

Some new tricks, well i m gonna try something called the invert landing, ambulances are standing by. Lucky west coasters, but i think this is gonna be a bash for east coast as well. we had a short but great last season, and had the best ever 2 years ago. Go no-name wentworth ski-hill, made by beavers(i aint jokin)

Wow, this thread precedes my joining date by a year. 2003 was a really good year for me.
I did a 360 off a 50ft step down for the first time, learnt how to do all the rails at my ski center and placed 4th in half pipe in the Jr Nationals. It was the first time, that year, my weekends were always booked for competitions. Crazy times!

2003 was one for the books in my ski world. I'd just quit 8 years of mogul coaching. People were like "that's got to be a dream job for you", let me put like this, mogul coaching was like being the director on a porn shoot, you're watching people do what you want to be doing and standing there telling them what to do with a camera in your hand. It was driving me insane.
Any how in Aug of '03 me and 2 buddies went down to South America. Started in Buenos Aires, skied Las Lenas, Bariloche, San Martin and La Hoya in Argentina, then Chillan, Valle Nevado and Portillo in Chile. There were some crazy adventures on that trip that I'll never forget. Been back to SA 11 more times, but that first trip was something that I'll remember as the best times of my life.

I was in Iraq.
No skiing there. I didn't know how to ski yet.
Although out of pure boredom at the fuel site we strapped these big sheets of plastic to the back of the humvee and went sand sledding.
