glass blowing - it cracks!!!

okay does anyone know how to fix glass cracking when i heat it up?
i have a butane lighter, and heat up the point i want, but then when i either poke it or blow on it, the bottle cracks in half, does anyone know how to prevent this?
or do i just need a hotter lighter to actually melt it without touching it or blowing on it?

you need to heat the whole thing. one part expands and the other part doesn't so it cracks.

i have found only one way to make a whole in glass to keep it from cracking. It takes a really long time, like 3 hours for a whole to fit a 12mm slide into.
