Replying to Rainbow and Kinked rails

hey dudes,
can someone tell me how to do both these types of rails, like how to approach them and judge my balance and just what to do on them in general, coz i reckon there hard, i got smashed on a rainbow earleir this year three timmes in a row then gave up, coz i thought i was going to get hurt.
i mean the kinked rails that go like this sort of, like two kinks...
