adobe premiere question

for those of you who have the program, can you edit any video camera type. The mini dv cameras are way to expensive so i imagine i'll get a hi 8 digital, would that be compatible with adobe premiere if not, what camera types are compatible.

you can edit anything, just dv is much much much easier.

yeah as long as you can capture it, you can edit it. there are digital 8 cams that shout hi8 tapes but have a dv out, which is easy to use as well, if you have a normal hi 8, you need an analog capture card though

yeah but even if it has analog out he can get a capture card and import that into premiere and edit it
