Quick connect

I recently purchased a quick connect for my pressure washer to my pressure washer hose..there is a small leak, like one drop every few seconds? anyone know how to fix this besides put a pan under it haha

It the little rubber washer type thing in it intact? If it is broken or anything then it will leak. Not all quick connects have rubber washers. So if you don't haveone in your's I don't know what is wrong with it.

its brand new and i jsut checked otu the washer everything seemed ok..i put some oil on it i dunno...any other suggestions im still ahveing the problem

hummmm???

Is it rated for the amount of pressure you are putting through it? Because if it is only rated for 150 to 300 psi and you are putting 500 psi water through it then it will leak.

ill check it out..its not a super necesarry part so i could return it and things would still work but it said its made for pressure washers..i dunno

well, if it is made for pressure washer then it should be fine. No quick connects aren't very important. I did art using a quick connect on my snow gun till last year.

so i emailed the company and a week later a brand new one arrived in the mail...no questions were asked or anything..so now i just get to return teh old one to home depot and its like gettign a free one wooooo and i tested it and it works flawlessly so im happy now free=good
